Coming from a background in the entertainment industry, Dave Gustav spends most of his time working with emerging technologies and developing digital strategies. His photography and video work has appeared in print, web, and television including BBC America, Billboard Magazine, TV Guide, NY1, New York Post, Daily News, Daily Mail, Spin Magazine, Spin Digital, and The Today Show.
Dave is a graduate of NYU despite dropping out at one point to play in a band. As a musician-turned-geek, he has performed at Carnegie Hall, played to crowds of one, and has owned more pairs of Chucks than you can imagine.
Dave began his life-long immersion in the arts at an early age, writing and performing original music from the age of 14, and soon afterwards recording a 4-song demo with Emmy Award winning composer and producer, Dave Marino. Countless performances followed with highlights including Carnegie Hall and St. Patrick’s Cathedral.
Dave is the co-founder of Karma Method LLC, a company focused on web design/development and digital consultation. He was also a co-founder of Bowery Boogie, a hyper-local news and entertainment site based on the Lower East Side of Manhattan.
Dave is always looking for new things to learn, new instruments to tackle and people looking to employ his services.
